# Using International Currencies

## You are not limited to a singular currency in MVMNT. You have the option to set your brokerage accepted currency as well as customers and carrier preferred currency.

Your base currency will be set up at the time at account creation. 

 

Setting your Accepted Currency

  \*Line items will be converted to your base currency using the exchange rate at the time  of item entry. 

-Navigate to the Operational settings portion under the My Brokerage tab

-Click the pencil icon to edit the modal

-Scroll through the currency options and select all that apply

Setting Customer Currency

-Navigate into the customer profile

-Click the pencil icon in the top right corner of the Company Details sections

-Scroll down to the currency section and choose the customers preferred currency

Setting Carrier Currency

-Navigate into the Carrier profile

-Click into the Payment Info Tab

-Click the Edit button in the top right corner of the Billing Details sections

-Scroll down to the currency section and choose the customers preferred currency

Live Conversion To Base Currency

-When you are paying a carrier or a customer pays you in a different currency, the TMS will auto convert the amount into your base currency. 

-When booking the rate, the carrier needs to get paid in CAD. Next to the rate in CAD you can see the live conversion rate to your base currency $USD

-hovering over the conversion rate will show you the calculation as well
